Colva is one of the largest and stunning beaches located in South Goa. It has fine powdered white sand bounded by coconut palms that stretches from Bogmalo to Cabo de Rama. Palolem is the most idyllic beaches in South Goa and also one of the most popular Goa places to visit. Also known as Paradise Beach, Palolem is a natural bay surrounded by lofty headlands on either side. This crescent shaped beach is about one mile long and is crowded by fishermen as well as tourists. At the northern end of the beach there is a fresh water stream and across the stream lies a small wooded island. There is a stone sculpture on the island created by an American artist Jacek Tylicki.
